Certifications

 

Suzano Report®papers have been produced for over 30 years by Suzano Papel e Celulose, company that is part of the Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE) portfolio from São Paulo's Stock Exchange, in Brazil. Their handling, manufacture and management processes have the following certifications:

 

ISO 9001: International standard which provides requirements for the Quality Management System (SGQ) of the organizations. ISO 14001: Internationally recognized standard which defines the practices for the establishment of an effective Environmental Management System (SGA).
OHSAS 18001: Specifications of internationally recognized auditing for the safety and occupational health management systems.
 
Cerflor : Brazilian Program for Forest Certification which certifies the forest management and the chain of custody.


 
FSC® : This certification is a voluntary process that includes the evaluation of a forest venture by and independent organization – the certifying company – and the compliance verification of environmental, economical and social issues that integrates principles and criteria from Forest Stewardship Council®.
 

Rain Forest Alliance : The Rainforest Alliance Seal assures consumers that the product they are purchasing has been grown and harvested using environmentally and social responsible practices. Farms and forestlands that meet the rigorous, third-party standards of the Sustainable Agriculture Network or the Forest Stewardship Council are awarded the Rainforest Alliance Seal.
